*PLEASE DO NOT SPRAY TAN-- IT AFFECTS THE LIGHTING AND SKIN COLORING, AND MOST OFTEN DOES NOT LOOK THE WAY YOU WANT ON CAMERA (PARTICULARLY FOR FULL BODY SHOTS).
What to bring:
- at least 3 different outfit options (variety and color is good!) but in this case overpacking is a good thing (and feel free to bring one or more outfits outside of your comfort zone)
- neutral or classic nail polish (no crazy patterns, color, or chipped nails)
- heels (one black and one nude pair)
- jewelry and accessories (optional)
What to wear inspiration: bra and matching undies set, bodysuit, corset, tank top, bustier, oversized sweater, men's button down shirt, nighties, high-thigh stockings (without plastic lining!) or fishnets. Satin finish is great!
What to do A FEW DAYS BEFORE your shoot: If you wax, do so a few days before to avoid bumps and redness; make sure eyebrows are shaped and groomed; if you are planning on a haircut and/or color do that beforehand; be sure to get a manicure and pedicure for a flawless finish; PLEASE DO NOT spray tan; drink plenty of water for luminous skin; lower your salt intake and avoid alcohol if you are worried about retaining water; try on your outfits to make sure they fit properly, and remove tags and labels; steam or iron outfits so they hang properly and keep their shape
What to do THE DAY BEFORE your shoot: Bathe, shave and moisturize; REMOVE ALL TAGES AND LABELS from lingerie and panties (store tags and size/info tags on pieces); pack a robe; double-check everything is packed- outfits, heels, jewelry, accessories; enjoy a quiet, relaxed evening; plan for a good night's sleep
What to do THE DAY OF your shoot: Use clear deodorant, eat a little bit beforehand, wear loose-fitting clothing to your session to avoid red marks (no jeans, tight socks, tight clothing etc.); eat something light but filling; arrive with hair and makeup done; take a deep breath and relax- it's normal to be a little nervous but you're going to have a wonderful time : )
